Devon: You won’t believe this amazing video! Giant bluefin tuna were spotted leaping out of the water during a wild feeding frenzy. Filmmaker Henry Kirkwood caught it all on camera.

These massive fish were on the hunt for a big shoal of garfish. You can hear the excitement as they splash just a few feet from kayaker Rupert Kirkwood.

Henry was blown away. He said he never thought he’d see something like this. Around eight tuna were chasing the garfish right near the shore. The garfish jumped out of the water, trying to escape the hungry tuna below.

Henry shared the full video on YouTube and some extra clips on X. It’s been a great year for tuna sightings. These Atlantic bluefin tuna are the biggest and most valuable fish in the ocean.

They vanished from our waters back in the 1960s. But now, they’re making a comeback. Did you know they can swim over 40 mph? That’s super fast!

Just last year, a monster tuna was filmed jumping out of the water at Budleigh Bay. The biggest fish ever caught in UK waters was an 851lb bluefin tuna back in 1933. That record still stands today!
