Exminster: Westbank Community Health and Care is celebrating Warm Welcome Week. They’ve upgraded their warm space for locals. It’s a cozy spot for people to gather, chat, and enjoy a warm drink this winter.

January can be tough, especially with Blue Monday around the corner. Many folks struggle with the cold and rising costs. To help, Westbank has opened Warmwell in their newly upgraded Healthy Living Centre.

Katie Elliott, who leads fundraising and marketing, shared their mission. They want everyone to feel welcome at Westbank. The charity understands the winter can be hard for many. Warmwell now has a new kitchen corner and a Community Larder for visitors.

People can grab a warm drink and some snacks. They also offer tips on staying warm at home and info about other support services. Whether you need a warm place to relax or want to meet new friends, Warmwell is here for you.

Warmwell is open Monday from 10 AM to 8 PM and Tuesday to Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM. It’s free to use, and donations are appreciated. The Warm Welcome Campaign aims to create a community where everyone can find a welcoming space nearby.
