Dublin: The National Transport Authority has just launched two new 24-hour bus routes. These routes, E1 and E2, are part of the BusConnects project. They’ll start running on January 26.

The E1 and E2 routes will connect areas like Dublin Airport, the city center, and Dun Laoghaire. This is a big win for commuters, as bus service levels will increase by over 7%.

These routes will run all day, every day. They’ll make it easier for folks to get to schools and hospitals. Plus, they’ll help support Dublin’s night-time economy.

A new Route 19 will also be introduced. It’ll run from Dublin Airport through several neighborhoods into the city center. This route will operate every 20 minutes during the day and every 10 minutes during peak hours.

Starting January 26, Route 19 will initially end at Parnell Square. But more services to Merrion Square will be added soon. This route is especially great for people living in Dublin 9 and 11 who work at the airport.

Eight new local routes will also launch, improving connections in south Dublin and north Wicklow. The NTA is excited about these changes, saying they’ll make public transport more reliable and accessible.

Dublin Bus and Go-Ahead Ireland are thrilled too. They believe these new services will really benefit the city and its residents. It’s all about making Dublin a more connected place, day and night.
