Roldanillo: A Dublin tourist, Paulina Biskup, tragically died during a skydiving adventure in Colombia. She was excited for this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Sadly, things went horribly wrong.

Witnesses reported seeing her struggling in the air before she fell. It was a shocking sight for everyone around. Just moments after jumping, Paulina slipped from her harness and fell several feet.

The incident happened at Aguapanela, a popular paragliding spot. It’s known for its beautiful views and great conditions. But on this day, it turned into a nightmare.

Despite quick efforts from rescue teams, they couldn’t save her. Paulina was only 38 years old and had been enjoying the trip with friends and her partner. They were there for a paragliding gathering, but she wasn’t participating in that event.

Local officials mentioned that it seems her harness wasn’t fastened properly, which led to the tragic fall. Authorities are now investigating what happened.

This isn’t the first time something like this has occurred. Last year, a woman from Virginia Beach shared her survival story after a parachute malfunction. It’s a reminder of how dangerous these activities can be, even in the best conditions.

Our hearts go out to Paulina’s family and friends during this difficult time. It’s a tragic loss that no one saw coming.
