Dublin: Storm Eowyn is making its presence felt in Ireland. The weather is about to get wild. We’re talking powerful gusts and heavy rain.

Met Eireann has issued a red wind warning for the entire country. For Dublin, this warning kicks in Friday morning at 6 am and lasts until noon.

They’re predicting winds over 130 km/h. That’s no joke! Expect dangerous travel conditions and possible power outages.

Fallen trees and transport disruptions are likely. If you have plans, you might want to rethink them.

An orange wind alert will also be in effect on Friday from 2 am to 5 pm. Plus, a yellow rain warning is out for Cork, Kerry, and Waterford.

Today in Dublin, expect some sun and scattered showers, but tonight, heavy rain is on the way. Temperatures will drop to around 2 or 3 degrees.

Tomorrow, the winds will shift, and we’ll see scattered showers. It’ll feel much colder due to the wind chill.

Stay tuned for updates on Storm Eowyn. We’ll keep you posted on everything you need to know.
