Storm Eowyn Hits Ireland: Weather Advisory Issued Amidst Further Warnings

Dublin: Storm Eowyn is on its way, and it’s not looking good. Met Eireann has issued a weather warning for the whole country. They expect strong winds and heavy rain this weekend.

The advisory is in effect until Saturday, January 25. Tonight, we might see some fog and mist, but it should be dry for most of the night. Temperatures will drop to around 2 to 4 degrees.

Tomorrow, the fog will clear up, and we’ll have some sunny spells. It’ll be a bit chilly, with highs of 6 or 7 degrees. But don’t get too comfortable; it’s going to get colder again by Tuesday night.

Thursday looks wet, with widespread rain in the morning. The rain should ease up in the afternoon, but it might get blustery. Friday is where things get tricky. It could be very windy, with possible gale-force gusts.

As for the weekend, expect more unsettled weather with strong winds and heavy rain. So, if you’re in Dublin, keep an eye on the forecast and stay safe out there!
