Holyhead: Stena Line is back in action! They’ve resumed ferry services today after some serious storm damage. Storm Darragh really shook things up in early December.

The storm caused a lot of chaos, especially during Christmas. Terminals 3 and 5 at the port took a beating from those strong winds. But now, Stena Line is running its usual schedule again.

They’ve got four sailings from Holyhead to Dublin each day. The new times are 04:00, 10:00, 16:00, and 22:15. Johan Edelman, the Trade Director, mentioned how tough it’s been for everyone involved.

He thanked customers and staff for their patience during this rough patch. Now that the berths are safe, they’re ready to roll again.

Ger Hyland from the Irish Road Haulage Association is relieved too. But he pointed out that there are still some kinks to work out. He shared that his ferry from Dublin was delayed by three hours last night.

That means trucks will be late with their deliveries. But hey, it’s a start! Let’s hope things keep moving smoothly from here on out.
