Police got reports of crimes related to OnlyFans. It happened in Devon and Cornwall over five years. The Mirror investigated and shared this. There were 36 crimes reported to them.

Some involved revenge porn claims, where someone posted private photos without permission. One man said his ex put their sex video online without his consent. Some claims involved blackmail or sextortion, where victims were asked for money or explicit content.

One person blackmailed an OnlyFans model, wanting free content or else. The blackmailer threatened to share images with the victim’s family and friends. Another victim got a message on social media, saying send explicit videos or your OnlyFans is exposed.

OnlyFans is a British company and now a huge industry. They make £5 billion each year, boosted by DIY porn and stunts.

Police are investigating rapes linked to OnlyFans videos. Blackmail, stalking, and harassment were also reported, along with some cases involving child abuse material and threats of violence. OnlyFans isn’t responsible for these alleged crimes, but they do work with police globally to protect their users.

One person hacked an OnlyFans account and demanded £100 from the victim. They said they would share photos and videos online.

One report involved “child porn,” where a 17-year-old uploaded content with her partner. This broke OnlyFans’ strict rules.

Devon and Cornwall Police made one charge or summons. Eleven cases closed with no suspect identified. Eight cases had a suspect, but the victim did not want police action. Seven cases had a suspect where evidence issues stopped further action.

OnlyFans got almost 180 legal requests in two years. These came from UK law enforcement. OnlyFans knows every user’s legal identity, helping them support police investigations and making OnlyFans a hostile place for abuse.

The Mirror asked police forces about OnlyFans crimes. 38 out of 45 forces responded to the inquiry. There were 1,613 crime reports mentioning OnlyFans as part of how the crime was done.

Some crimes aren’t directly tied to OnlyFans itself. A suspect might threaten to post something there, or the report might just say someone uses OnlyFans.

Twenty-seven forces gave more crime details,
