North Devon Homes will join key housing talks in Westminster, focusing on community engagement and affordable housing strategies for the upcoming Government plan.
North Devon: North Devon Homes got a special invite to Westminster. The National Housing Federation (NHF) wants them to join a discussion about housing associations.
This meeting will gather top housing groups from the UK. They’ll share insights for the Government’s Housing Strategy, set to launch in June 2025. North Devon Homes plans to showcase its work in customer engagement and affordable housing.
The invite comes after North Devon Homes earned a C1 grading in a recent inspection. This shows their commitment to resident engagement and community-focused practices.
Martyn Gimber, the chief executive, expressed pride in joining these discussions. He believes sharing their experiences can help shape a National Housing Strategy. Community engagement is central to their mission, and they want to highlight their positive impact.
North Devon Homes will also present at the NHF’s Customer Experience and Resident Engagement Conference in February 2025. They’ll create a video to show how they work with residents to build inclusive communities.
Martyn added that they aim to create desirable communities. Listening to customers is key to their success. Engaged residents help improve services and bring valuable insights to the table.
He sees the conference as a great chance to showcase their customer engagement efforts. Their approach, “From Front Room to Board Room,” emphasizes the importance of customer feedback in running their business.
