Newton Abbot: Exciting news for young artists! Coombeshead Academy is launching a new Level 2 CREATE course. This program aims to boost creativity and help students explore their artistic talents.

Students can dive into various art forms, like sculpture, textiles, and printmaking. This course is perfect for those not ready for Level 3 qualifications, giving them a solid foundation for future studies or careers.

The Level 2 CREATE course combines academic skills with hands-on art experiences. Students will learn study skills to prepare for future challenges while exploring different artistic disciplines.

Starting in September 2025, the course will be led by experienced teachers Emily Parr and Tracey Williams. They will guide students through painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, and more.

With at least 5 GCSEs at grade 3 or above, students can join this course. It’s a great opportunity for those passionate about creativity to continue their artistic journeys.
