Claudia Kambanza’s mother describes unbearable grief after her daughter was murdered by her possessive boyfriend.
Johannes attacked Claudia with a knife and stabbed her in a Hull street. The attack first happened at her home. Then, he chased her down the street and grabbed her, stabbing her twice.
Johannes, age 29 and with no fixed address, admitted to murdering Claudia and possessing a knife. The crime occurred on January 26 of last year. The court jailed him for life.
Johannes must serve at least 23 and a half years before being considered for release, contingent on good behavior. The court will deduct time already served. This results in the minimum sentence being 22 years and about 170 days.
