Dublin: A notorious armed robber’s plush home is now up for grabs. The Criminal Assets Bureau took over the property after a lengthy court battle.

This house belonged to Stefan Saunders and his wife, Tammy. They bought it for €360,000 back in 2005 and spent around €125,000 on renovations. The place has a jacuzzi and fancy marble counters.

The High Court decided the house was bought with crime money. The couple tried to fight this in court but lost their appeals. Now, CAB has the keys and plans to sell it for at least €500,000.

Saunders, 46, was jailed for a cash-in-transit robbery in 2016. He was caught by the police while trying to rob a cash delivery van. He’s also linked to a major robbery in 2005 and faced charges for a kidnapping in 2010.

The house is empty now, but it’s in great shape. The high-end fittings and the jacuzzi are still pristine. It’s a wild story of crime and luxury, don’t you think?
