Dublin: A lucky Dubliner just had the best start to 2025. He won an incredible €200,000 from a €10 All Cash Spectacular scratch card. Can you believe it?

He bought the winning card at Spar on Decies Road in Ballyfermot. Last week, he picked up his cheque from the National Lottery’s winners’ room. At first, he thought he won €20,000. But his son pointed out the real prize was ten times that!

James Kennedy, the Spar owner, was thrilled for his customer. He said it’s fantastic news and a wonderful way to kick off the new year. It’s great to see such joy in the community.

Interestingly, another player from Kildare also had a lucky break. He won €100,000 on a Money Multiplier scratch card on Christmas Eve. He got his ticket from SuperValu in Naas, a store he usually doesn’t visit.

He shared how he scratched the card at home and couldn’t believe his eyes. He fell to the floor crying! He rushed to his friends to keep the ticket safe, wrapping it in tinfoil and hiding it in the attic.

Retrieving the ticket was a nail-biting experience. He finally had it in hand when he called the Lottery to claim his prize. The wait felt like forever, but when he got the confirmation, the celebrations began!

With his winnings, he plans to take care of his family and pay off his car loan. What a way to start the year for both winners!
