Exeter: The Co-op store on Queen Street has a fresh new look. After eight weeks of renovations, it’s ready to welcome customers back.

This reopening is part of a bigger plan. Co-op aims to revamp about 80 stores across the UK by 2025. They also plan to open 75 new shops this year.

The store now offers more fresh produce, meal deals, Fairtrade items, and an in-store bakery. You can also find hot food and award-winning wines.

All fresh meat sold here is 100% British, supporting local farmers. Plus, Co-op members can enjoy special prices on popular products.

For convenience, the store acts as a hub for quick grocery deliveries through Just Eat, Uber Eats, and Deliveroo. Orders are picked fresh and delivered quickly.

Customers can also recycle soft plastics like crisp packets and bread bags at the store. This makes it easier to dispose of hard-to-recycle materials.

Store Manager Shaun Farleigh is excited about the changes. He believes the new look and services will benefit the community and enhance local life.

Rachel Hargreaves, Co-op’s Director of Property, is thrilled about this refurbishment. She emphasizes the focus on community and convenience in their growth strategy.

The Queen Street Co-op is now open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., ready to serve the community.
