A car was seen on a Cornwall beach today, sparking curiosity and jokes among locals about its unusual location
Newquay: A car on Towan Beach caught everyone’s attention today. Locals were curious and a bit concerned. They wondered if the car was stuck in the sand. Some even joked that the driver took it for a walk.
Photos of the car popped up on a Facebook group around 3 PM. The dark vehicle sat right in the middle of the beach while people enjoyed the sun and sea.
Comments ranged from funny to worried. Some said, “You can’t park there!” Others thought about calling for help. A few speculated if the driver’s GPS led them astray.
But good news! Eyewitnesses confirmed the car got off the beach without any trouble. This isn’t the first time cars have ventured onto Towan Beach. Just a few days ago, a Mercedes got stuck trying to turn around.
That car needed a tractor to get free after the tide came in. Towan Beach seems to attract drivers who think it’s safe to park on the sand. Last summer, four cars got stuck in one day! It’s a wild spot for sure.
