North Devon: A 21-year-old man named Jamie Davison has been sentenced to jail. He broke a court order meant to keep him away from teenage girls.

The order was put in place after police raised concerns about his behavior. It specifically banned him from being around any females under 18.

Davison didn’t just ignore the order; he actually met up with three girls. He even supplied them with cannabis in Whiddon Valley Woods.

In court, it was revealed that he had previously been acquitted of a serious sexual offense. But the judge noted that Davison clearly sought out young girls.

Judge James Adkin said he posed a risk of serious harm. As a result, he was sentenced to 18 months in prison, with 40 percent to be served behind bars.

The judge mentioned that while they couldn’t impose a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, probation should consider strict conditions for his release.

His defense attorney argued that Davison was immature and didn’t fully understand the order. She also mentioned that he is neurodivergent and will be closely monitored when he returns to the community.
