Dublin: Aer Lingus is back with its training course for future pilots. They just opened applications for the Future Pilot Programme. This course lasts 14 months and is designed for aspiring aviators.

You can apply online until February 10. Aer Lingus wants to encourage more women to apply. Right now, only 11% of their pilots are female.

Anne Kiely, the Chief People Officer, shared that Aer Lingus has a long history of pilot training. They’ve been running these programs for nearly sixty years. Successful candidates will get to fly to many exciting destinations and operate modern aircraft.

They’re looking for anyone passionate about aviation to apply, especially women. The goal is to help close the gender gap in aviation.

Candidates will receive top-notch training and ongoing support throughout their careers. To apply, you need to be over 18 by February 10, 2025, and have completed your Leaving Certificate or equivalent.

You also need at least two higher-level subjects with H5 grades. The application process opens online on January 29, 2025. For more details, check the Aer Lingus website.
